Sonata on four feet

The Feet Theater presents a vibrant performance with choreography and music, featuring several sketches created through the artistic collaboration between Laura Kibel and Veronica Gonzalez.

Their feet become the true protagonists of the show, creating ironic and dramatic characters and telling stories for all audience, without boundaries of age, language and nationality.

The spectators can see the actresses transform parts of their body (the soles of the feet, the knees, the legs) in lively and expressive faces, in alive “puppets of flesh and blood”. These feet puppet can love, suffer, fight, and transmit the most varied emotions.

This original visual theater use of the support of highly suggestive and impactful music, capable of replacing the word.

New repertoire of variety numbers: from the live song, to the hilarious choreographies, without forgetting poetry, irony and comedy. 

This show has been performed in prestigious festivals such as Charleville Meziéres 2006, Figeuro (Ghent) 2007, Parade's (Nanterre) 2011, Haifa Festival (Israel), Festitalia in Bucharest, International Mime and Marionette Festival of Kilkis, Bilbao Festival, Prague, Barcelona, Madrid, ect.

The Teatro dei Piedi (Feet Theater) company collaborates assiduously with the offices of the Italian Cultural Institute around the world. Laura Kibel (director) and Veronica Gonzalez (actress) have been present on the world stage both in theater and on TV for more than 25 years. The show can be performed both indoors (theaters, equivalent halls, auditoriums, etc.) and outdoors 

Ideal stage space: 8m wide x 6m deep x stage/stage 1m high. 

Restricted stage space: 5m wide x 3m deep x stage/stage 1m high (stage height measurements from parterre)

Black backdrop + 2 black legs at the side of the stage

Set up time: 3 hours 

Dismantle time: 1 hour

Lights: In attach map lighting design  

Important:

Lighting and sound control have to be together so can be operated by a single operator

Dressing room with mirror and bathroom

The stage space must be clean and able to carry out the assembly and walk barefoot

Possibility of access with the company van near the loading/unloading door of the theater

For conventions, meetings, special events the duration of the show can vary in agreement with the organization from 30' to 50'
